Wine Tasting & Silent Auction

CONTACT Cape-Atlantic invites everyone to say goodbye to the long, hot summer of 2010 at its Wine Tasting & Silent Auction Friday, Sept. 24, at the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington Street, in Cape May.
The event will be held in the Carriage House from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and includes a wide selection of fine wines and beers, butler-served hors d'oeuvres and dining stations for international cheeses, duck confit and beef brisket sliders, Asian slaw, pasta with roasted vegetables and more. Tickets are $50.
The Wine Tasting is a necessary fundraiser to support CONTACT's mission to help our elderly and disabled neighbors enjoy independent living as long as possible. This year, when funding is being greatly reduced, the money raised at the Wine Tasting will help CONTACT continue its mission.

QUIZZO Tournament
WHAT: Attention all you trivia buffs! CONTACT Cape-Atlantic is sponsoring another Quizzo Tournament. This is a game show style trivia competition that began in Philadelphia in the 90’s.
It consists of eight rounds of trivia questions, everything from sports, literature, music, politics, history, etc., to include picture rounds, where you have to name the person in the photos on a page. Players can play alone or bring a team of experts. Fun for all!
